”He who hears the Banshee’s cry is doomed to die before the crack of dawn” as the legends go. Oh how accurate they are, the Banshee has been considered a force of nature to priests, clerics, and even the most stalwart of paladins for it screams of false teachings and forever haunts the mind of those who have heard it. This ghastly creature holds nothing but malice and hatred for the mortal world, desiring nothing more than to see the living scream in agony and torment.

The Howl of a Banshee is the hardest thought to quell after hearing it once. For some, it had taken decades of their lives to try and quench the memory, but it was not impossible. The reason behind the difficulty is the fact that the scream will sound like the final death cry of a past relative to the listener.

Banshees most commonly take the shape of a Human Female with exaggerated features, however, Banshees have been noted to masquerade as most forms of living with three major offsets, a glowing aura around them that some would define as “ethereal”, their innate ability to float in the air, and their bodies seemingly far too long for the race they attempt to imitate. Long slender creatures, an average Banshee is 3 m. (9 ft.) in height. Banshees have translucent bodies making them see-through but not invisible to the living, making it easier to hunt for undead hunters but also easier on the Banshee’s part to hunt for unsuspecting commoners.

While it is widely assumed by scholars and undead hunters that banshees deserve to hail from the void, in the realm of Eden they have been seen to inhabit areas of mass suffering. Banshees have been sighted at funerals, hospitals, sites of plague outbreaks, and other places of pain and death. As to not draw as much attention, the Banshee will mimic the cries of pain and misery of those near it.

== Behaviour ==
Banshees are unpredictable creatures, one day they may try to intrude in a church the next it wanders in a field. However, a noticeable pattern with all undead is their hatred or fear of sunlight, as such, a Banshee will be most active at night; though, Banshees have been seen moving in daylight if necessary for its survival. A Banshee will always be making a form of noise, usually by crying or screaming, to draw the attention of the living and drive them to madness. Banshees have been noted to be malevolent toward all forms of living and undead without any reasonable explanation.

== Abilities ==
===Banshee Howl===
The howl of the Banshee is a sound no living soul should hear if they value their life. The howl, if the person botches the encounter with the Banshee, will stun the listener for some time. The listener will also be a prioritized target of the Banshee unless they or the banshee knock out, at which point the Banshee will attack the next closest person. If multiple people “listened” to the howl, the Banshee will prioritize the closest listener and continue till all listeners are knocked out.

===Banshee Cry===
A Banshee's weeping can be just as demoralizing as its howl, but not as deadly. Upon hearing the Banshee’s cry and failing the encounter, the listener is stunned for some time.

===Scream===

The Scream of a Banshee can be deafening no matter the distance. On a successful attack, the scream will cause the person’s ears to bleed.
