Introduction

Goats come in many different colors and sizes. The most seen color in Eden is white. They have a short type of fur that gets thicker in lower temperatures. On their chin they have a little bit of extra hair which almost looks like a beard. Goats usually have 2 horns on their heads. These can vary in shape and size. The horns are made of bone surrounded by keratin and other proteins. These horns are used to protect the goat.

Behaviour

In the land of Eden, the mountain goats reign supreme in the rocky outcroppings and cliff faces of the Spine of Eden and other mountainous regions. Their agile and nimble nature is a wonder to behold, as they navigate even the steepest of slopes with ease. These social animals live in small herds, led by a dominant male who protects the group from danger. As the sun rises in the morning, the mountain goats begin their daily routine, grazing on the lush vegetation that blankets their mountainous home. During the heat of the day, they rest in the shade or on rocky ledges, where they can escape the sun's harsh rays. As the day cools down, the mountain goats become active once again, continuing their search for food until the sun sets. Though not known for their hostility, they can become defensive if they feel threatened or cornered. Nevertheless, they have been domesticated by some of the inhabitants of Eden for their milk and meat. These herbivorous creatures are an integral part of the mountain ecosystem, and their relationships with other beasts are often symbiotic. They coexist with other herbivores, such as deer and bighorn sheep, in their mountain habitats. However, during times of scarcity, they may compete for resources. Predators such as wolves, cougars, and bears pose a threat to the mountain goats, but their agility and speed often allow them to evade danger.

Abilities

Mountain goats are generally peaceful creatures and do not actively seek out conflict. However, they are capable of defending themselves and their young if threatened. When confronted with danger, the dominant male may use his impressive horns to ram the attacker, inflicting significant damage. Additionally, the mountain goat's sharp hooves can be used to deliver powerful kicks to fend off predators or other threats. In terms of attacking, mountain goats do not have any natural offensive weapons, such as claws or teeth. However, they are incredibly agile and nimble, able to navigate even the steepest slopes and rocky terrain with ease. This allows them to avoid predators and other dangers by escaping to higher elevations that are inaccessible to many other animals. Overall, while not known for their aggression or attacking abilities, mountain goats are formidable opponents when provoked or threatened. Their sharp horns and powerful hooves, coupled with their impressive climbing skills, make them a challenging prey for even the most skilled predators.
