After the rotting plague started to calm down, It was unsure what was to happen next. Ninety percent of Al-Khadir’s human population had perished and the once joyous land was now full of heartache and sorrow. The King was still being kept away from any of the Khadan humans, in fear of him contracting the disease, so Malekith remained in charge until the court was sure that King Aharon was safe. Lady Phaedra still remained Aharons betrothed while he was king, although she would continuously deny his proposals. While working her daily shifts in the clinic, she noticed the amount of depressed and downhearted citizens that would roam the streets of Al-Khadir and this broke her heart. She spoke to her father of this and they came up with a grand feast in which the memory of the Fallen Akhadi people would be celebrated each year, and so a new tradition began. For one night the kingdom went back to their old ways, happiness spread all around as the Akhadi people of all status, danced and celebrated their families and friends, and it was this day that King Aharon decided that he would step down from his title and hand it to Lord Malekith of House Torsec, Phaedra’s was now the Princess of Al Khadir, Daughter of the king. Her fathers rule was a short yet very cruel one. The once vibrant and exuberant City was brought to a halt by the tyranny of The King Malekith. The city was plunged under occupation of poverty, terror and frustration Phaedra was no longer allowed to leave the palace at all unless she was with her father or her Betrothed. Physical Appearance
Phaedra is described as being particularly beautiful, with long raven hair that flowed as sweetly as a poet's ink and quill, which was quite long because the castle servants found it easier to help her maintain it as a result it grew down to her hips. Her eyes were rounded and could be compared to that of a cyclamen opal, she has pointed ears that are decorated with golden ear cuffs and other earrings that she was gifted from her citizens over the years. Standing at 6ft, Phaedra's body is lithe and toned. She has many markings, the meanings of these are unknown to those outside of Phaedra's Bloodline. Her Hair was neatly pinned back by a golden hairpin and a long red veil that would flow behind her as she walked, She would also often be seen wearing the latest fashion in Al Khadir, these dresses are mostly very elegant and more formal than casual

History
Her early life
Phaedra Al Masri Torsec was born to Malekith Torsec and his wife Alya’a Al’Masri, In Al-Khadir. For most of her life she lived as Lady Phaedra of House Torsec. For most of her life she was promised to the king's son, Aharon El Masra. A Khadan human Who was 30 (6 elven years) years younger than she was. Pheadra found the idea of marrying a human laughable, disgraceful and repellent , after all she couldn't marry someone she has known for his whole life. She viewed Aharon as a brother, and he was her best friend. Phaedra would view the first 45 years of her life a good one, One of her most favorable memories would be traveling up north to see the snow with her father and the king while they were on a diplomatic trip to see the Denur. All was perfect until one night while she and her mother were visiting their cousins further up in the wasteland of Anjyarr. On one very unusual night, Anjyarr was pouring with rain. Pheadra growing up in the desert, didn’t see thunderstorms very often therefore she was terrified of them. In the middle of this cold evening, young Phaedra climbed into her mothers bed believing that the wetness of it was due to the rain leaking in from the window arches above. It wasn't until the morning did she wake, finding herself and her nightgown soaked in her mothers blood. Walking her uncles hallways she witnessed death, murder and torment. Her household had been slaughtered, The assassins thought she was dead as she cuddled up to her deceased mother while in the blood soaked bed. Her mothers blood was the only reason she was alive.
The rotting plague
41 years after her mothers death, Aharon was the current leader of Al Khadir. During this time Phaedra’s Father was still the Advisor for the king. A year later the first death of the rotting plague was recorded on one of the trading ships headed to Al Khadir from Hadriana. It was shortly after the ship docked had more deaths started occurring, Phaedra from this time decided that she would help the Cities Physician in treating the people that fell ill. Aharon was kept from the public in order to protect his health and many of the Khadan’s were advised to stay inside, The Physician taught Phaedra all she knew in helping the sick, while Lord Malekith took over the nation for Aharon’s health sake. He advised many of the Dark Elves in helping give the Khadan’s that passed a proper burial and make sure that The Emirate of Al Khadir remained as it was, a place of hope and joy. This lasted for 5 years, but felt like a lifetime to those who survived, As all watched as their friends, family and leaders dropped dead around them.
