Introduction

The red mushroom or Fungus Venenum is likely the most known mushroom in Eden due to its typical color pattern. It is found in various biomes like temperate, taiga, humid subtropical and tropical biomes.

Description

The red mushroom is a fungus with a wide network of hyphae underground. On the surface, the fungus grows mushrooms with an iconic color pattern. The mushroom itself is bright red with white dots all over it. Unlike its counterpart the common mushroom, the red mushroom is not edible. In fact, it's highly poisonous. It smells a little sour and feels wet to the touch, it will make one's fingers slightly sticky if harvested without gloves.

Usage

• Mushroom Cap

The cap of the red mushroom is highly poisonous. When eaten, the victim will start to feel unwell within the first few minutes. Then they will start to breathe heavily. The poison targets the lungs. If not given an antidote within a few minutes, the victim will choke to death.
