Commonly known as Pocket Dragons the Draco Sinum is a draconic reptilian, which can be commonly found near volcanic areas or areas with a warmer climate. Unlike the bigger draconic species the Draco Sinum is a fairly calm and often very friendly species, generally seen as pets within households.

Pocket Dragons are the smallest among the draconic species, growing to a full size of 5.5 inches. They share a similar trait to that of the bigger draconic species, have very slender, long bodies similar to that of a ferret, showing four tiny claws, a set of scaled wings and a long tail. Commonly sporting a white coating of scales, accompanied by purple, red, orange, cyan or green scales along their back and head.

An ability commonly found within the dragon, when opening their mouths, they are able to release a small flame. However, due to the size of the Pocket Dragons the flame is not much bigger than the flame of a lit candle. The dragon is commonly using said flame to create a source of light for their owner or themselves.

Habitat

The Draco Sinum are known to be thermal-loving animals, meaning they are known to live near places of extreme heat and can easily. They are also known to end up near volcanic-sides or smaller cities. If found near such cities, they often tend to avoid most races unless they are being tamed. If they do bite or attack it is usually in self-defense when accidentally grabbed or being attacked by the citizens. Pocket Dragons aren’t known to move in large groups, often staying alone on their own.

Pocket Dragons are known to lay eggs in early to mid summer. Eggs are often laid in burning hot embers or directly into the flames of a fireplace, often helping the mother to warm the eggs and breed the eggs. A normal female is often only laying three to four eggs and stays around her nest, protecting it against any attacker, often hissing softly as soon as any intruders come towards the nest, yet, barely being able to hurt anyone bigger than a small dog. As soon as the eggs are hatched, the mother will guide the younger Pocket Dragons into the nearest embers, while trying to find food for the young hatchlings. Said hatchlings will be fed by the mother for three months, which then results in the hatchlings leaving their mother, often trying to find their own area to stay at.

Behaviour

Pocket Dragons love attention, and they love to meet new people and creatures, but they are incredibly finicky about who they choose for an owner. Pocket Dragons are still very vain and often look for a companion that can match their behaviour or at the very least their personal style. Unlike other animals the dragons require the most dedication to tame, as they are often acting out of line, igniting smaller pieces of paper or even scratching their owner. Gifts of small coins and singing are known to put them into a good mood and improve the chances of the dragon accepting it’s owner. If successful in taming a Pocket Dragon, they will forever stay near their owner, often sitting in their gold pouches. They can be moody still and won’t always agree to go out into public with their owners, but will do it on occasion if just to flaunt around.

Abilities

Like most draconic beings the Draco Sinum is able to produce a small flame through an internal organ, which holds a liquid that ignites once it comes in contact with air. However, due to the small size of the dragon the flame is only capable of burning some paper and smaller objects.
