Introduction

The beautiful birch tree, also known as the Pulchritudo Bratus by the great botanists, is a type of tree that grows in the temperate biome in forests, on plains and on hills.

Description

The birch tree is a beautiful, white tree. The tree itself is found on plains, but there are also a lot of birch forests on Eden. Birch trees don't usually grow really tall, and tend to stay smaller than the average tree. The tree can also be found on hilled landscapes. The inner core of the wood of this tree is a light shade of gold, with the outer edge of the wood being white. The tree and wood itself is a bit weaker than oak wood, but it's way more beautiful. The treetop is covered with dark green leaves. The leaves almost have a triangular shape.

Usage

• Wood

The wood of the birch tree is not as strong, and therefore not ideal for building. It is used in buildings though for decorative measures as this wood is wanted in many houses to give it more open feeling.

• Roots

The roots of this tree can be used to heal various animals. It can heal sicknesses that are only found on animals. Strangly enough, it doesn't work on the diseases that are found with people.
