Introduction

The Habash Vampires are a Vampire species belonging to a dreaded House of Vampire nobles located in the plane of Hemon. This house is known as the “House of Night” and it’s a noble house of Demonic lords whose leader “Agapito de Hemon” is one of the three Voidal Titans recorded to inhabit the Hemon plane where the house is located.

This Habash is feared as some of the darkest among all the Demonic Houses, and it’s famous for its frequent contacts with Yuxiem, the necromancy plane.

Habash Vampires make use of their alliance with necromancers and their iconic Hemomancy magic to bring fear and destruction to the planes of the living, as they once did with Lilith.

They also ally with other Vampire houses, although they rival them for personal glory and their different way of action. Least inclined to diplomacy and subterfuge, they prefer to use their dreaded forces of mixed vampires and necromancers to bring wrecking to the lands of Eseron.

Habitat

Any place of Eden, Lilith, Hemon.

Description

Habash Vampires resemble mortal nobles of any race. They usually wear extremely expensive and elegant dark clothes that they decorate with gold and gems. Habashs wear a long cape and a chaperon hat. Their faces are usually pleasant, similar to pale Hinterlanders. They are used to growing a mustache but never beard, their disquieting red eyes shine in the darkness and turn completely black when they cast hemomancy magic.

Habash Vampires like to give themselves Hispanic names and are rarely seen armed with more than elegant beautiful daggers.

Behaviour

Habash Vampires consider themselves the most powerful demonic house, and think that anyone, living and nonliving, will kneel to them in time. They are usually indifferent to mortal whims and just seek his own interests, treating any living in Eseron as racially different from them.

They hate the livings with all heart and when they can’t convert them they pose no problem in killing everyone and turning them into undead armies thanks to their necromancer allies they hire in Yuxiem, Lilith or Eseron.

Habash Vampires have high intelligence, they speak every tongue and are usually more than 10 000 years old. They like to deal in poetry although mortal people rarely meet their difficult, extremely dark tastes for literature.

When they meet other demons or creatures of the night, their stance is usually neutral and often try to bribe them and use them for their purposes, if possible.

Their main hold is in Hemon, also known as the Hemomancy Plane, where their Nocturnal Holds offer them protection and a place to rest when weakened.

Habash Vampires have a very simple hierarchy that is usually just nominal, since everyone but their “Emperor Agapito” usually thinks for itself and tries to make its own interest and pursuit of personal glory.

The Emperor anyway sometimes manages to make some of its Habashs team up in important missions or invasions, and seldom even organizes temporary alliances with other Vampire Houses as it happens in Lilith with the so-called “Midnight Aristocracy”.

In Combat

A Habash Vampire uses Summon Darkness to prepare for a fight and usually tries and uses his flight skill to keep himself out of the fight, calling Cuelebres and casting Blody Syphon. He rarely prepares attacks alone and when he does, he often calls for help from necromancers, undead (like skeletons), or other vampires.

Abilities

Voidal Regeneration: A Habash Vampire regenerates 2hp/round and can regrow any limb (even the head!) in a month's time, in either of its forms.

Hemomancer Archmage: Habash Vampires are all level 10 hemomancers (House of the Night). Their favorite spells are “Summon Darkness” and “Bloody Syphon”

Cuelebre call: A Habash Vampire can summon up to one storm of Cuelebre : flying black amphiteras with common bat stats. They look like small 10cm wingless dragons with bat wings. The Swarm will come directly from the Hemon rift they create and occupy a 4x4 area. The Habash can spend one movement action to move the Cuelebres that deal 1d6 damage to everyone but him. This damage can be halved with high defense. Everyone in the area is blinded and has its speed halved.

Feral attack: A Habash can deal a ferocious attack with his nails that can grow similar to claws, dealing 3d3 damage to a single target.

Vampiric Flight A Habash Vampire can grow large 3m bat wings that use to fly at will, 6m/round as a movement action. They’re immune to fall damage.

Undead Affinity Habash Vampires can give simple orders to a limited number of skeletons (maximum 3) as a movement action

Vampire Traits: Habash Vampires do not sleep, do not eat and they do not drink but blood that heals them 2 hp/round when they do. When they haven’t drunk blood for more than one day out of their native plane, or when hit directly by the sunlight, they’ll get the “Weakened” Status. Weakened Vampires have -2 to every roll and will try to retreat to Hemon in any possible way.

Hemon Traits Demons from Hemon can only be killed with a silver weapon. If you don’t have a silver weapon, they’ll just be “staggered” until they get damaged for twice the amount of their hp and then faint. A staggered Vampire will only make one action/round and cannot both move and attack in the same turn.

Drops

Demonic Blood.

Vampire Nobles are old intelligent demons that can possess the most disparate items.
