Introduction
Skeletons are probably the most famous undead creature and are commonly known by the people of Eden.
Skeletons can be reanimated by most supernatural phenomena including necromancy, voidal magic, and voidal corruption. They can be found anywhere a person has died in the past but are usually more common in burial sites, though they do not move around on their own and require some sort of reanimation ritual to become sentient.
Habitat
Burial pits, crypts, catacombs or cemeteries.
Description
Skeletons are the reanimated bones of any humanoid creature. They can be in varying conditions but are often quite old as the flesh that was once a part of their bodies has all rotted away, leaving the bare bones to face the elements..
Behaviour
Skeletons have a fairly simplistic behavior and don’t tend to be very active, besides defending the area they were resurrected in or following a basic command from the force or being that resurrected them.
They know how to use weapons and armor and, despite being physically frail, are capable of delivering fatal wounds to their enemies using whatever methods they have at their disposal.
While they are able to be commanded by the force or being that raised them, they aren’t always the most obedient and can be usually found mindlessly patrolling the areas that they occupy.
Abilities
Skeletons attack using whatever weapons are at their disposal or what ones they were buried with.
They use these weapons in similar fashion to their living counterparts and are quite standard in terms of their attack patterns, though usually a little sluggish due to them being reanimated corpses.
However, it’s more likely for skeletons to have melee weapons than ranged ones. Additionally, they can rarely be found without a weapon and will still use their bare fists to attack.
Melee attack (Strength) Usually a sword, rarely an axe.
Ranged attack (Agility) Usually a bow, rarely a crossbow.
Drops
Their weapons.
