Richard Vianden, 1st Markgraf of Veronia (Thunderday 28, Highbloom, 1529 - Present), is a Hadrian nobleman, military commander, politician and the first Vianden Markgraf of Veronia who has served as the Reichsmarschall of the Hadrian Empire from 1555 to present. He is one of the leading members of the Vianden Family, which rose to prominence during the reign of Kaiser Diederick-Göbel I.
Vianden grew rapidly in favour with Diederick-Göbel I and the rest of the Imperial family, and in 1552 was subsequently made Markgraf of Veronia. On Harvestday 10, Rainswrath, 1555, he was appointed as Reichsmarshall of the Hadrian Empire following a period of military decline for the Hadrian's and the betrayal of the previous Reichsmarshall - Konrad von Drachenfels.[1] As Reichsmarshall, he enacted the Ricardian Reforms to halt the decline of the Reichsarmee and bolster its numbers.[2]
Origins
Richard Vianden was born on Thunderday 28, Highbloom, 1529 at Adelsburg in the Hadrian Empire, as the first born child of Edmund Vianden, by his wife Julia. His younger brother Ser Joseph Vianden served as both Hochmeister of the Greifengarde and ErzTreasurer of the Hadrian Empire. Joseph was among his brother's most loyal supporter during his life.
