Physical description
Tetheris stands at 207 centimeters (6’8). He holds a thin, ectomorphic body type with broad shoulders and a strong upper body. He has large and frail hands which were often taken for weakness despite his high skills in archery. He holds silver-gray eyes and thick, dirty blond eyebrows. His skin held no marks or scars of any kind and was smooth as if it was often taken close care of. He had silvery-white locks that flowed down just reaching his hips that were often neatly kept in a tight french braid or ponytail.
He was never seen without his pure gold circlet head-piece with a variety of precisely picked gems placed in the center. This head-piece was swapped with each outfit he wore. He often wore attire in the color scheme of his nation. Blue and white in every shade and hue. Typically a long robe that nearly touched the floor. He opts to not decorate his fingers with rings unless absolutely necessary to fit his attire.. He wore a thin, delicate silver necklace with a small, pointed sword as the charm that was given to him as a gift. It is most often hidden underneath his layers of clothes to assure the safety of this prized possession.
Characteristics
Tetheris has the witty humor most closely related to his father and the keen intelligence of his mother. Perhaps due to him being the middle of three triplets, he’s an independent ‘cill with a largely curious mind. Despite this, he restrains the urge to stick his nose in places it does not belong. He acts in carefully calculated motions and is clear and articulate in his ways of speech. Because of his upbringing as a member of the royal fíma, he is a rather polished, and pristine young man which led him to be repeatedly placed with friends much older than he. Not finding much enjoyment in those much his age who had most likely been too childish for his liking.
Tetheris has small neat penmanship with a liking to that type of art. Alongside that interest, he enjoys reading books of any genre though he’s most interested in literature in the forms of adventure and romance. His two greatest interests, however, are animals, and religion. Feeling the most understood by those particular interests.
His relationship is strong with his family but he has a clear favoritism to his father, Aldir’tor. The two held a very strong bond with one another. Frequently caught conversing about various topics of interest and playing mindless games. Aldir’tor often took Tetheris aside to teach him various lessons of magic. The two were quite literally attached at the hip. He has learned valuable things far beyond the land of magic. He has learned how to be focused, as well as how to keep a cool head in hot situations.
Tetheris also admired his mother, A’mos. Her grace and beauty amongst the Enlightened Kingdom taught him to keep his own inner peace and serenity. As well as that, she taught him how to properly take care of himself and reminded him that a healthy body would keep a healthy mind. He enjoyed the various home cooked meals and sweets she offered to him and his siblings. Her love to each and every child was clear with each peck of the forehead, and embrace. Tetheris grew to hold a similar type of love to his later partner.
History
Tetheris was born Tetheris III Zaithrall in 1523. He was the middlest child of triplets in the preserved Kingdom of Luminion. The first decade of his life was sheltered by the walls of the Enlightened palace due to an internal interference with the outside lands of Eden. At around Sixty-five (65) years of age, young Tetheris finally ventured outside of the palace with his sister, Cirlia. It took him a few months, but with the assistance of his brother, Respen, he warmed up to the city just fine. He learned to love the lands and would often venture outside of the walls with his brother, and their later guard, Eldrion. Although he was frequently hiding in the nooks of the city, sticking his nose in his literature, he made an abundance of friends. Few of which he holds dear to his heart.
Due to his royalty, it was important for him to have knowledge of his city and family’s history. He spent many hours of his day researching and studying the history of the lands. Although he was originally not fond of the idea of his studies, he ended up enjoying them greatly and now willingly sits to read about the history. On top of this reading, Tetheris found himself reading for leisure as well. On hard nights, he would end the night with reading to his younger brother until Respen, or himself, fell asleep. They have been found laying on top of each other after many chapters.
He gained interest in Luminions religion after finding himself retreating to the Temple on a daily basis. He became a Scin of the current Scinari’cilius. He connected to the Mother, Arièlle, on a deeper level and revolved every decision based on Her intuition. Although his connection with the religion was strong, he strove to learn more underneath Her.
A Holiday Masquerade was held in the Royal Palace in 1529. This was run by his sister, Cirlia Zaithrall. Tetheris was promised a date by his father, Aldir’tor and was granted that wish. He was introduced to a woman with a moon mask. She was later introduced by the name of Astarielle. Despite not being able to reveal their identities, the two of them hit it off for the night and shared a slow dance and endless conversation with one another. After ditching the party once the attendees became scarce, they revealed their identities to one another under the Gazebo in Luminion. They fell hard for each other and began to date after many hours of idle chatter.
Nowadays, Tetheris is the Scinari’cilius of the Silver Phoenix Temple. As well as this he owns a flower shop, and manages the Luminion bank. He spends a lot of time visiting his father in his study to practice magic in the arena. Alongside this, he’s caught often in the tavern chattering with the various faces within. He enjoys adventuring outside the Luminion enclave with Respen to catch frogs in the swamp and going on a number of dates with his lover. Despite not having much time to himself, he always finds his inner relaxation on the grounds of the temple.
Trivia
- All of the children learned to swim as younglings but Tetheris was always afraid and hesitant to swim due to nearly drowning once in a fountain. He still despises any body of water to this day.
- He has two beloved pets named Sergeant Mulligan III Hoppswell and Bogart Pennelegion-Tricklebank Hoppswell
- His favorite hiding spot is within the tree just outside of The Luminion College of Sorcery. If he wasn’t seen for hours, he was reading up in the tree.
- Tetheris was a nerd at heart. He was a sucker for Fantasy novels and often rambled about them to his closest friends
