Description
These creatures are roughly 180cm tall and have an ectomorph body structure. They have the upper body of a human and the lower body of a fish, with the two portions connecting at the abdomen where scales and skin transform into one another. Sirens have long and lustrous hair that rides the tide’s rhythm, and a silky, smooth texture with a similar color variety to humans: Blonde, black, or brown. Their skin is polished like glass, glorious and unwrinkled, and its tone can range from light to dark with a blue tint. Their scales emit a luminescent radiance that dazzles the sea in prismatic hues, and there is a rainbow diversity of colors, some sirens even possessing two hues that shade together throughout the tail. At the bottom, is a caudal fin, sizeable but weightless. It serves as their primary way of maneuvering through the ocean’s expanse. It also includes several lateral lines running through to provide a proper, rigid base for easier swimming. The siren's entirety illuminates this unwavering splendor, everything except for its concealed teeth. They only reveal when a siren is about to strike, and out protrude an array of serrated, ferocious fangs that can effortlessly chop meat or sever a limb. Another concealing factor is their fragrance, conjuring the fresh scent of citrus and sea floral. However, this aroma is substantially undermined by the salty stretch of the sea, so this entrancing smell only affects animals with gills that can smell. But the voice of a siren can attract all species. A dulcet tone fills the air with every note, comforting minds and setting them to a state of tranquility, albeit vulnerability.

They also prefer to hunt with their family if they have one, otherwise, the Siren will hunt solo, rising near the surface where prey is most abundant. Once it arrives, no search is warranted. They can simply use their mellifluous voice to draw their victims. Creatures calmed and curious are greeted with a devouring bite. If it is approached when it’s already full, the Siren will simply ignore the creature without revealing its true nature. These hunts are especially common during the Amber Dawn, as Sirens will hibernate throughout Lilith’s veil afterward. They also reproduce in the Emerald Dusk, and seeing them hunt with their families is most prominent during this time. A simple hierarchy exists for each of these families, with one being the leader, and the rest being followers. The leader is often referred to as the “Mother” of the group. She is typically the eldest of the group and directs every hunt, as well as leading the group back to safety. For movement, they wag their tails back and forth in a full-body wave motion to propel water backward and themselves forward. Sirens find swimming calming and easing to the mind, and most of their actions are akin to this even-tempered manner. They are intelligent, enigmatic beings.
