The Dhoyan Spirits, commonly known as Dhoyan, are small spiritual beings that are commonly residing within the forests or areas with a high concentration of natural energy. Due to their rather childish behaviour, the Dhoyan are often described as weaklings if compared to other spirits, yet, their unique behaviour is always a refreshing sight to see.

Dhoyans are most often standing at the height of six to seven inches, and are seemingly weightless, allowing them to glide and float if they jump from higher places. Their body shape resembles that of a tiny, nearly bulbous human, yet, they are missing real hands and feet. While such may be the case, the Dhoyans are still able to walk around or carry smaller objects, most commonly by using both appendages to lift something. Most notable about those small spirits is the appearance of their head, which is often referred to as flame-like, being elongated and ending in a pointy tip, resembling the flame of a candle. At the same time, the Dhoyans do not have a real face; instead, a set of small dark spots for eyes can be found, and they do not have a mouth or nose. The general colour of the Dhoyans is a transparent light bluish, nearly white, colouration, which is commonly emitting a soft glow around the creature.

Habitat

Dhoyan Spirits are often found in places of strong foliage and vegetation, such as forest and swamps. While such places seem to be preferred by the Spirits one can often spot them around areas with high concentration of natural energy, often sitting on roots or waddling on the branches of the nearby trees. As such, they are constantly surrounded by their own kin while they pass along each other, wandering their favoured areas.

Behaviour

Commonly referred to as childish beings, the Dhoyans don’t have a clear understanding of right or wrong in the same sense a living being would have. They act based on what they feel is right or wrong. As such, some may see a simple campfire as the most dangerous thing, trying to put it out, while others may just laugh it off. As such, there isn’t a clearly defined mentality for the Dhoyans, instead of a general childishness and goofiness.

Abilities

Dhoyan Spirits are falling under the naturalistic spirits, being able to pass through solid matter at ease. While such may be the case their magical abilities are weak, only being able to summon a few drops of water or a spark of fire if needed. However, the sheer amount of spirits is making the difference in the case of Dhoyan Spirits, as they often combine their forces to cast bigger spells in the times of need, being able to summon storm clouds to stop wildfires or to create a trench to avoid a major flood.
