A frost phoenix is a legendary, mythical avian creature that lives high up north in the ancient mountain range. It is a giant bird with deep blue feathers, overgrown with ice to the point of looking like a bird sculpted out of ice. The ice-blue bird is around two meters tall, like an elf. They have claws at their feet that are so big they could grab a person. A frost phoenix's birth is a magical event that needs the assistance of a person to birth the youngling. A phoenix will therefore contact an individual to birth her egg. Only once per decade, an egg is laid. To hatch the egg, the chosen person must complete a ritual. The chosen will have to cause the formation of a blizzard since only there can see the egg hatch in. This can be done through magic or by using various items and relics. Once a frost phoenix is born, it will fly off further north, beyond the ancient mountains, or stay with the chosen person, and the mother will allow the person to raise the youngling.

A frost phoenix may attack intruders to their domain in the snowy tundra, and then they might fly down from their high mountains and try to grab you with their claws or attack while airborne. Whenever you fight a frost phoenix on the ground, it will also use its ice-sharp wings to attack you. Frost phoenixes are very intelligent and magical, and they might summon ice storms or cast ice shards from their wings, the shards dealing slight damage, and both the storm and shards will freeze you in place.
'''Freezing Dust''': A magical dust infused with Aros magic falls from the Frost Phoenix's wings, dealing 1 frost damage to all creatures within 4m each turn.

'''Ice Arrows''': The Frost Phoenix is capable of solidifying its feathers through Aros magic.
The Frost Phoenix will make a ranged attack to everyone in a 2x2 area and deal 1d3+1 damage.

'''Sacred Burst''': When a Frost Phoenix is reduced to 0 HP, it becomes immune to any damage or status for 1 whole turn. During this turn, the Phoenix closes itself in a cocoon of impenetrable deep blue icy waters that slowly solidifies in a metallic solid egg in the course of a turn.
At the end of this turn, a giant freezing burst will turn everything in a 6m range into ice. Only a major magical remedy can cure this status.

'''Fly''': A Phoenix can move twice per turn in the three dimensions, and attack in the same turn.

*'''Phoenix Feather'''
::A frost phoenix might drop one of their deep blue, iced feather if they parish. This feather could be used to change weather and channel storms or allow it to snow even in the summer. Like the fiery feather, they can be used to lift curses or cast blessings. When used for a blessing or changing the weather, the feather chills and bursts out in ice shards in a spectacular way.

*'''Phoenix Shards'''
*'''Phoenix Shards'''
::An ice shard, coming off from the wing of a frost phoenix. This is a very powerful magical artifact filled with arcane energy. It is a stronger material than a gemstone and it is so cold that it cannot be molten. Such a shard is mostly used as a trophy, but it could also amplify a mages ability to cast spells and use the energy from a tear.
