Introduction

This vile weed grows in places infected by the blue voidal corruption, mimicking the effects of a blooming fungus due to its shape and the number of spores given off by the plant. It is said that voidal energy flows into the surrounding area through the spores the weed constantly squirts out as it waves in the wind, making the spread of voidal contaminants nearly impossible to deal with until the source is destroyed.

Description

The weeds that grow are a strange shape and color, bluish-green that starkly contrasts the natural colors of the surrounding area, seeming to be from another world entirely. The weeds can spread to nearby objects and terrain, slowly corrupting it until it matches the odd color of the Blue Weed. Since it comes from the void itself, it's impossible to be domesticated and prolonged exposure can be very dangerous. The spores can be identified by their putrid, pungent odor and their plague-like infection of surrounding areas. The spores can easily stick to bare skin and will leave a slow, bubbling, and burning effect until they're removed, though they aren't especially dangerous upon contact with bare skin, unlike their red counterparts, the Crimson Weed.

Usage

It is highly poisonous and deadly and is commonly found in areas infected by the void, slowly corrupting the surroundings until the source of the infection is dealt with.
  • Weed
A sample of the weed itself, acting more like a section of fungal growth than any natural plant due to how it spreads.
  • Spores
A cloud of incredibly deadly spores to breathe in must be avoided at all costs. Regarding contact with the natural terrain, it will settle and grow into more Warped Weed, corrupting the surrounding area. Used properly, though, these spores can become helpful in aiding people in need.
